Relaxation Massage Therapy
Relaxation Massage uses traditional Swedish techniques such as long gliding strokes, kneading, light trigger point release and functional movement techniques to help circulate the direction of blood around the body back towards the heart. Passive joint motions are used to help lubricate joints and provide better range of motion. Relaxation helps with stress and anxiety while promoting a healthy mind/body balance.
Stretch Therapy
Stretch therapy is a unique approach to targeting muscles, joints, tendons that feel painful or restricted. Each session focuses on releasing tension in the muscles and connective tissues around the joints and allows your body to become re-acquainted with your mind-muscle connection to unlock stiffness and relive body aches and pains. Your initial assessment will include in depth feedback about your current restrictions and help evaluate your range of motion, flexibility, and any areas of tension or discomfort. Most importantly you will learn how to reduce pain and increase overall mobility, strength and work on corrective exercises to work on any muscular imbalances. All clients should bring loose, comfortable clothing and water.
